Apple Cinnamon crisp. I took this recipe: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/warm-cinnamon-apples and modified it a bit. After cooking it slow for about 10 minutes, I took a generous tablespoon of cornstarch and mixed it with about 1/4 cup of cold water. Then I added it to the mixture and let it boil for another 5 minutes. Then I spooned out a double serving of the apples and sauce into a small ceramic dish. Then I sprinkled Gluten free Granola on top and added a dusting of brown sugar on top. Then I put it in the oven on broil for about 4 minutes. My wife loved it, and it is a perfect replacement for foods that are worse for her.
My beautiful wife is Gluten free. She does not have Celiac disease, but she has been tested for allergies, and she has a gluten allergy. Gluten makes her tired and worn out. So together, we work to provide a gluten free diet for her.
